3 Reasons Why Every Business Needs A Blog Writer

By Danielle Bult

Every business needs a blog writer… and I say this for multiple different reasons.

Firstly, blog writing can be such an asset to your website and business. So many times, I see amazing businesses with beautiful skincare formulations dropping the ball on their blog section of their website. Whether that is by having a couple of blogs on their site from back in 2014 or not having a blog section at all. A lot of the time they don’t know just how successful they can be if they made one small change to their business structure. With that being said, let’s just into why I believe every single business should have an informative blog section on their website.

1.     To improve your SEOs:

SEO stands for ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ and every single business wants to have the best SEOs on their site. Why? Because this makes your website more searchable. One way you can boost your SEO and therefore, being more searchable to consumers is to have a whole bunch of content on your website. I mean a WHOLE bunch. The more content the better. This allows Google to know that you are a serious and legitimate business and will boost your website within Google Search and hopefully, bringing your business to the first page of Google. Being on the first or second page of Google means more success and sales for your business.

2.     To provide further information about your products within your brand:
Blogs can be awesome at providing your audience with further information about common searchable topics within the skin and beauty industry. They can be a very successful segway into recommending certain products available on your website to calm their skin concerns. For example, you might have a really informative blog on your website about ‘Why everybody needs a Vitamin C in their routine’, and along with this you provide some great examples from your website of Vitamin C’s they can purchase and where this can sit in their routine. And BAM your consumer is happy because you’ve just broke down why they specifically need this product and you’ve got yourself a quick sale.

3.     To earn your audience trust that you are experts in your field:
my first thought when I think of this point is the Paula’s Choice website. I am forever on that website and you want to know why? Paula’s Choice has an ingredient dictionary on their website. So, if I’m looking at a formulation and I’m not sure what a certain ingredient is… away I go into Google and straight onto the Paula’s Choice website to look into it. And the best part? It’s all backed by evidence and research. Paula’s Choice has an amazing blog section as well that I visit very frequently. They have earnt my trust as a consumer and I know that they know what they are talking about. This could be how consumers view your website and brand as well.

If this sounds like you, let me boost your business through blogs. As mentioned, every single business should have a blog section on their website. If you don’t have a blog section already, please consider investing in a blog writer to help complete your website.

It could be the best business investment you make.
